have heard about both of these and maybe.
you're curious you know what's the big.
difference.

you know which which one's gonna make me.

money right well the truth is uh both of.
them.
can um make you good money and both of.
them can make you.
absolutely no money right.
the problem today is there are so many.
muppets out there promoting.
not just drop shipping but affiliate.
marketing right they're promoting.
uh these bs programs done for you.
systems and so forth uh when you really.
break it down.
it's very simple okay so affiliate.
marketing is simply promoting.
other people's products okay a perfect.
example would be.
hotels. com hotels. com is just one.
big ass blog that reviews.
various uh travel locations hotels.
things like that.
let's say i'm on there looking for a.
vacation with my wife i found a.
beautiful hotel that i want to stay at.
in miami and i click on the button and.
it takes me to the hilton in miami.
well that's an affiliate link that.
hotels. com gets credit for.
so but once it leaves hotels. com.
they have nothing to do with me anymore.
everything's done through hilton right.
hilton takes care of everything okay.
they've already done their part.
hotels. com has done their part they did.
the research they did a video they wrote.
a blog post okay.
boom it's done right and.
this information lives online forever.
and ever so every day people are coming.
and looking at various articles booking.
hotels and it's a great passive income.

now let's talk about drop shipping drop.
shipping is.
is where you typically the way that.
people are teaching it now is.
to source products from china and two of.
the biggest platforms are alibaba.
and aliexpress okay so you can basically.
go to any of these and you can type in.
flashlight and you can get.
thousands and thousands of different.
flashlights for like.
20 cents a dollar a piece right and you.
get a shopify store right they make it.
sound very simple.
you get a shopify store you pay your 30.
bucks a month and you get a plug in from.
a place called oberlo.
and then you just take all these.
products from these uh.
wholesalers right and they load up to.
your shop.
and then guess what everyone just flocks.
to your website it starts.
buying like crazy well that's.
and that's not how it works it doesn't.
happen that way.
you have to advertise you have to grow.
an audience you have to.
choose a niche branding all that stuff.
uh.
what did let's go back to advertising.
did i say advertising oh yes you have to.
advertise.
and then you have to advertise some more.
and advertise some more and advertise.
some more.
not to mention you have to make sure.
that you have a killer kick-ass product.
that nobody.
has because it is saturated beyond.
belief now there are some people that do.
very well but they've gotten in early.
they've got.
a quality product you have to think.
about the weight of the product.
is this a digital product that might be.
returned right you have to buy these.
products first test them out yourself.
make sure they're good.
all these kind of things you have to.
deal with customer service.
you have to deal with returns so it's.
not.
a a uh it's not a ideal situation for.
somebody who's looking to live that.
passive lifestyle.
okay as you can probably guess i'm not a.
big fan of drop shipping i've tried drop.
shipping i've done.
amazon fba i've done it all t-shirts.
mugs hats i even did.
restaurant equipment it is a now.
affiliate marketing is simply promoting.
other people's products right um.
for instance i could set up a shop.
all about iphones i could set up a.
youtube channel.
i don't have to deal with customer.
service i don't have to buy the product.
i don't have to talk to anybody nothing.
i just have to create the content.
right and i can do that by creating.
organic free content on youtube tik tok.
uh blogs things like that okay and i've.
been doing this for six years as an.
affiliate now the cons.
right there are cons cons are that it.
takes time to get up and running.
but when you do it correctly you learn.
how to do this business correctly you.
can do.
very very well in affiliate marketing so.
the bottom line is drop shipping is if.
you're looking for a more hands-on.
business where you get to actually kind.
of touch the products and deal with.
customers and deal with complaints and.
and have a business where you're.
clocking in every day do the drop.
shipping route.
okay however it's very very difficult.
and there's a ton of competition.
affiliate marketing is wide open now why.
is it wide open.
it's wide open because you are the brand.
you.
are the business and guess what you are.
not like anybody else.
you are you you are unique so you have a.
better chance.
of being profitable in an affiliate.
marketing business than you do.
in a drop shipping business if you want.
