one from clickbank.
clickbank is an affiliate network where.
you can find a bunch of affiliate.
programs.
or affiliate products that you can.
promote and the product that i got.
myself with.
was this one custom keto diet.
and this is actually a very good high.
converting affiliate product.
now i did not make 46 dollars i made.
like.
20 or 21 from the one sale.
so the problem wasn't really the.
affiliate product the.
problem was the way that i promoted it.
so what i did is that i used.
bing ads microsoft ads bing is the.
search.
engine just like google some people.
still use it.
and if you search for something on bing.
for instance keto.
you will see some of the results have.
this little box.
that says add so this means that someone.
has paid.
to show their article or their website.
when someone is searching for keto on.
bing.
so anyone could set up an ad like this.
by just going to ads. microsoft. com.
and create an ad and this is really.
where i made my.
first mistake with this method and that.
was that.
i was bidding for way too many keywords.
so.
you decide what kind of keywords or.
search results.
you want to bid for and i thought myself.
that i just want to have my website.
show up to anyone who searches for.
anything that is.
just lightly related to my keto product.
so i would bid for.
weight loss how to lose weight how to.
lose weight fast.
best diet anything that was just.
a little bit related to keto i would bid.
for that.
the problem with that is that you're.
getting not targeted traffic.
at all so i was getting a lot of clicks.
to my website but i was getting.
very few or just one sale.
big mistake big huge if i remember.
correctly i spent.
over a hundred dollars in ads and i made.
just twenty dollars the second mistake.
that i did was that i sent people.
straight to the affiliate link.
from the ad so i did not have any kind.
of funnel or landing page where i could.
collect.
email addresses that means that i only.
had one chance of getting.
a sale so if people didn't buy on that.
first visit i had no chance of getting.
them back to the website again it would.
have been much better to send them to.
a landing page where i could collect.
email addresses.
give them something for free give some.
value first.
and then later ask for a sale through.
the email sequence honestly you could.
make this work you could direct link to.
an affiliate product.
using bing ads but the main problem with.
that for me.
is that you're not really building your.
own business.
you're just building someone else's.
business if my bing ads account were.
shut down i would have nothing to show.
for.
the work that i've done i would.
basically have had to start.
