How To Add Amazon Affiliate To WordPress Blog Post

affiliate link to this and if people.
were to buy after clicking on the image.
or clicking on linked text we would earn.
a commission now you can only get your.
affiliate link if you're a part of the.
Amazon affiliate program already so.
you're going to need to apply already to.
the Amazon affiliate program I'm not.
going to cover how to apply because I.
already have a video on that which I'll.
leave up on a card here but once you've.
applied you can go to the Amazon.
Associates program and you can see all.
of your earnings here and most.
importantly once you've applied and.
you've logged in you'll get this Amazon.
Associates bar at the top of your Amazon.
that means any product you can then.
click on and then in the top left hand.
corner you can either get a text link or.
you can get an image and I'll show you.
how you can add both of these right now.
so let's start with text so if you click.
on text it's then going to give you a.
shortened link the redirects to this.
page here so we're going to copy this.
shortened link you can then go into your.
WordPress post.
you can then decide where you want to.
link so what text do you want to link to.
the Amazon page so I'll highlight this.
here which is the product name I'll then.
click here to this link button and we.
can now paste in our affiliate link now.
if we click enter that's then going to.
make that an affiliate link what you can.
also do is bold it so it stands out now.
let's update that okay so now you can.
see that's updated and when we click on.
it it should then redirect us to Amazon.
and here you go here we go and there you.
go it's redirected us to Amazon here so.
now let's go ahead and add an image and.
I'll show you how you can link with an.
image so if you go to the same product.
and you then go to image you will then.
get an image here that you can add now.
you can add small medium or large for.
the video I'm going to choose large.
and then we'll copy this HTML code now.
we can go back to our article and you.
just want to decide where you're going.
to put this image then click on the plus.
icon and you want to search here for.
HTML.
click on custom HTML then you can simply.
paste in your HTML code and if you click.
on preview.
you can see here is the image now what.
you can also do is you can also go to.
block inserter and type in column.
and if you drag on a column here so just.
click on column you can drag on a column.
so it's like 3366 and I'll just recopy.

and I'll add it to the column instead.
and then we can just delete this one now.

box and you can then type about your.
product and obviously you can just carry.
on the article beside the photo because.
there's nothing worse than having the.
